"That wasn't too bad!" Raphael said as they exited the other end of the portal.
"I told you that I got the portal working good!" Donatello replied.
"True, but it still feels weird going through. It's like going through a hallway through of gelatin!" Michaelangelo said as they approached the castle's front door, which was being guarded by two very familiar characters.
"Halt! Who goes there?"
"Oh, knock it off, Buzz! You know who these four are!"
"Sorry, Woody, but as an ambassador to the Disney segment of The Halls of Lost Legends, I must see to it all unexpected visitors are allowed entrance!"
The grumpy old cowboy doll rolled his eyes. "Don't mind him, fellas. He's just been a little on edge ever since our last movie flopped!"
Buzz spoke into a walkie talkie about the same size as him and Woody. "Yea, we've got four large talking turtles decked in multi-colored head-bands carrying what looks like martial arts weapons."
"Let them in." a familiar sounding voice spoke.
"Very well!" Buzz said as he allowed the Turtles to go through.
"For a minute there I thought maybe there was a glitch and the portal sent us to either Orlando Florida or Anaheim, California!" Raphael said quietly.
"Nope, you're in the right place!" said Brian Griffin, the talking dog from Family Guy who was standing next to his good friend Stewie!
"I say, what good timing that the four of you have shown up! Our good old friend Bart Simpson has been terrorizing our guests of honor with his sling-shot, and wreaking all sorts of havoc!" the large-headed infant spoke.
"Guests of honor?" Donatello asked.
"Yea, every summer a bunch of celebrities from your Earth gather here to visit with the stars of Hollywood's past!" Brian exclaimed. "Marylin Monroe, Clark Gable, Judy Garland, John Ritter... a whole bunch of em!"
"Infact, Elton John is doing a set in the auditorium. Sonny and Cher are on right afterwards, b-" Stewie chimed in.
"But it's not gonna be much of a performance if Bart ruins it for everyone!" Brian finished.
"I was about to say that part!" Stewie whined. "Way to mess up the cameo! It's like that deleted scene in Bob's Burgers all over again... which of course we don't have time for a cutaway too, because-"
"Okay, Stewie, lets go get us some corn dogs or something! You're obviously getting hangry!" Brian said as he took Stewie by the hand and dragged him off.
"Well, it looks like we have ourselves a little side-quest to go on here!" Leonardo stated as the Turtles made their way into the main corridor of the castle.
It didn't take them long to find the spiky-haired, yellow-skinned troublemaker who was chasing the original Three Stooges. "Hey, come back! I just wanted an autograph!"
"Man, he seemed so well-mannered the last time we saw him!" Michaelangelo mentioned.
"I wonder what got into him." Donatello spoke.
"Eh, pre-adolescence! There's no reasoning with them!" Raphael replied. "Come on!"
The Turtles joined in on the chase, leading them to a door leading to the back of the stage Elton John was performing on.
"Seems almost fitting that we'd get here in the middle of Crocodile Rock!" Donatello quipped.
"Yea, too bad Leatherhead's not around!" Michaelangelo remarked.
"Guys, look!" Leonardo said as he pointed to Bart who had the Stooges cornered near Cher's dressing room.
"Take it easy, little yellow fella! We don't want no trouble" Curly said with a shaky voice.
"Yea, j-just calm down." Larry added.
"Oh! I'm sorry. I guess I got a little carried away." Bart said as he stowed his sling-shot in his back pocket.
Moe saw this as a moment to grab Bart by the collar. "Okay, you rotten little Dennis the Menace rip off! You nearly cost us our spot on the roster!"
"Whoa, whoa! Take it easy, dude!"
"Who the heck said that?! Why I oughta-"
Larry let out a high pitched scream at the sight of four giant turtles walking up to them.
"Holy moly! What kinda monster movie did these guys step out of?" Curly asked.
"We're the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and we're more than happy to take that kid off your hands!" Leonardo explained.
"That's gotta be the most ridiculous thing I've heard of... and that's saying a lot considering how long I've known these two dimwits!" Moe said looking back at Larry and Curly.
Just then, Sonny and Char's dressing room door swung open and the legendary couple emerged.
"Hey, what's all the commotion out here?!"
"Yea, we're getting ready for our big number."
"Gee, I wonder which song they're going to perform." Raphael commented sarcastically.
"Sorry, Mr. Bono and Miss... uh, Cher!" Donatello said politely.
"I wasn't talking to you, ya ugly frog!" Cher snapped.
"That wasn't very nice." Larry commented.
That moment on stage Elton John had just finished up his set. "Thank you all so much! Now, I want all of you to put your hands together for the legendary Sonny and Cher!"
The duo rushed past the Stooges and Turtles and got into the stage just as their iconic song I Got You, Babe began to play.
Moe handed Bart over to Michaelangelo and gestured Larry and Curly to follow him.
"Like, what was that all about, dude?" Mikey asked as he put Bart down.
"Yea, it's one thing to cause trouble in your hometown, but not here!" Donatello remarked.
"I wanted to surprise my sister Lisa by getting her a chance to perform with her old friend Bleeding Gums Murphy."
"Aw, that's sweet!" Leonardo said. "But I take it they didn't allow it for some reason."
"No, they have this stupid cut-off rule that any person real or fictional who didn't make their mark before 1985 isn't eligible to enter!" Bart pouted.
"Now who do you suppose made up that dumb rule?" Raphael asked.
"Listen, we really don't have time to help you out, but maybe Stewie Griffin and his dog Brian could be of help." Donatello suggested.
"That crazy kid?! No way, dudes! He gives me the creeps!"
"Okay, so the Griffins are a little... unhinged compared to your family. But they know how to get to the bottom of things!" Michaelangelo mentioned.
The Turtles lead Bart back to the main entrance where Stewie and Brian were still standing.
"Oh hey, you were able to stop him!" Brian remarked.
"Would you quit stepping on my freaking lines?!" Stewie griped while gritting his teeth.
"Look guys, I'm sorry I flaked out earlier and acted like an idiot, but I really need your help!" Bart pleaded.
"Why not have your old pals the Ninja Turtles here help you?!"
"We're a little busy trying to track down our sensei. He's been possessed by the spirit of our arch nemesis!" Donatello mentioned.
"Sorry, but we haven't seen any of the Ghostbusters around!" Brian joked.
Stewie groaned. "Can't we go ten f***ing minutes without you EMBARRASING ME?!" the little boy composed himself and addressed the Turtles. "Besides, even if we wanted to help Bart out, we're still scheduled to be greeters for the next hour and a half!"
"Perhaps I could be of help." Elton John said. "Sorry for being so nosey, but on my way back to my dressing room, I overheard what had been happening. I for one am amazingly disheartened to hear they won't allow Bart's sister the chance to reunite with her jazz idol!" he gently placed his hand on Bart's shoulder and said. "I'll be more than happy to help you out!"
"Thanks, man. That means a lot." Bart said as they walked side by side back towards the auditorium.
"Well, now that we got that whole side quest out of the way, lets get to the comic book pavilion and track down our Mirage counterparts!" Michaelangelo said.
One long walk later, the Turtles made it to the pavilion of comic book icons.
"Whoa! Remind me to bring my camera along next time we're here for a visit!"
"No time to sightsee, Raphael! We've got to find our Mirage counterpa-aha-Yikes!" Leonardo shrieked in fright at the sight of the Mirage Ninja Turtles who've somehow grown very old and extremely thin and wrinkly. They were all sound asleep side by side on what appeared to be four hospital gurneys.
"They sure look, uh... malnourished!" Donatello commented.
Raphael saw a note on a nightstand and began to read it out loud. "If you are reading this, please do not be alarmed. We are merely in a hibernation like state known as brumating. Having grown older, our human minds are not as sharp as they were in our youth, therefor our reptillian instincts have taken over."
"But why would they do this in the middle of the summer?" Donatello asked.
"Maybe because they're indoors where it's climate controlled!" Leonardo figured.
"Which means these dudes could've been asleep like this for months!" Michaelangelo added.
"Maybe all the trauma they've gone though dealing with Shredder and the Foot Clan took its toll on them." Raphael said as he let out a sigh. "So what do we do now?"
"Do not fear, Turtles!" a voice boomed out, startling then.
Instinctively, Michaelangelo attempted to do a back-fliip, but landed on his stomach. "Ow! Well, that didn't go so well!"
"Who's there?" Leonardo shouted as he drew out his swords.
"It is I, the Gyoji from the Battle Nexus!" the ghostly spirit spoke as he appeared before them.
"Oh hey, didn't quite see you there!" Donatello said.
"I was with Renet in the 79th Level of Null-Time, when we received a beacon from Miss Lang's Null-Agent badge, which we are aware was left to Donatello."
"Can you tell us where it is now?" Leonardo asked.
"Better yet, I will transport you to where it took your sensei!" Gyoji created a portal in the form of a giant blue puddle on the ground, which the Turtles slowly sank through.
"Man, and I thought Donatello's dimensional portal felt weird!" Raphael spoke right before their heads were submerged and the puddle portal evaporated, and all was quiet once more in the Mirage Turtles' chamber.
