"Can you believe it's been forty years since we ended up living here?" Leonardo said as he and Raphael were moving some old furniture into the new subterranean lair underneath 2580 Kriebel Road.
"I just can't believe it took Donatello this long to finish turning the basement into our old sewer den!"
"Well, it wasn't easy. I had to make sure I wasn't violating any housing codes, and I didn't want to risk trespassing on the Haltemans' part of the land."
"We haven't seen much of Missy or Joey lately. I hope they're doing all right." Michaelangelo chimed in as he walked passed them with his arms full of frozen pizzas.
"Michaelangelo, I haven't set up the new pizza oven yet!" Donatello griped.
"I know, but you got the fridge set up, right?"
Don sighed. "Yes, but it isn't cold enough yet. You're better off making lunch up in the kitchen!"
"Yea, and don't hurry on our accounts. We still have a lot more furniture to arrange down here!" Raphael commented.
"Speaking of which, lets get back to setting up the living room here! I want to get started on setting up the dojo before the sun sets" Leo stated in excitement.
"Sheesh... I was hoping you would get less gung-ho in your grown up years!"
"Technically, since we're still cartoon characters, we don't really age that much." Donatello remarked.
"So like, we're still teenagers? That's totally radical!!!" Mikey replied happily as he headed back upstairs and into the kitchen where Master Splinter was sitting at the table. "Yo, sensei"
"Greetings, Michaelangelo. How are your brothers doing with the decorating?"
"It's going great, but Donatello says the new fridge and pizza oven aren't ready, so I've gotta prepare our lunch up here!" Michaelangelo exclaimed as he examined one of the frozen pizza boxes. "Expires June, 2036? Eh, that was only a month ago. I'm sure it'll be fine."
Splinter sighed as he got up from his seat and threw out the empty sushi container he had finished eating from. "Even after we came to this world, I never could convince you four to try other foods."
"Hey, we went out for cheesesteaks not too long ago!"
"And, what did you have on them?"
"Some cooked onions, a little tomato sauce and... melted mozzarella." Mikey finished with a sheepish grin as he placed the pizza in the oven.
Splinter chuckled as he headed down into the basement to check on the other Turtles.
"What do you mean the big screen TV can't go there?!" Raphael griped.
"Because that's where I want to place our wall photos!" Donatello replied. "The TV set goes on this wall over here."
"Come on, you guys. Quit arguing! I want us to get this place set up in time to watch April's news report on WFMZ!" Leonardo stated.
"It certainly was nice of Jenny to get her and Vernon jobs there." Splinter commented.
"Yea, and they seem to be really enjoying life in Allentown." Donatello added.
"Great, now I got that Billy Joel song playing in my head!" Raphael said with a chuckle.
  "Piano Man?" Leonardo joked.
"Actually, that's one of Jeff's favorites. Gee, it's been a while since we heard from him." Donatello mentioned. "I sure hope he and Patrick are doing okay in Philadelphia!" Michaelangelo replied.
"Oh, I'm sure they're living it up in the big city!" Raphael said in a sarcastic tone.
"My sons, perhaps now would be a good time to take a breather and have something to eat. Michaelangelo is preparing a pizza for lunch."
"For all of us, or just himself?" Leonardo quipped.
"Knowing him, he'll probably have three in a row!" Donatello remarked as they headed upstairs.
"Hey dudes, you're just in time! The pizza will be done in a few minutes!" Michaelangelo said happily.
"Wow, you're actually gonna share it with us?" Raphael remarked.
"Well, I kinda need you guys to taste test it for me."
"What did you do?" Leonardo asked as he crossed his arms.
"It's not like that, but the pizza I got out is a little passed its expiration date."
"By how long?" Donatello asked in a concerned tone.
"Only a few weeks." Mikey answered just as the timer went off. He took out the hot pizza and placed it on the table as his brothers took their seats.

All it took was one whiff and the Turtles could tell that even penicillin wouldn't save this pizza.
"Next time, just order delivery!" Raphael griped as he picked at the smelly crust.
Splinter came running up the stairs accompanied by the Daimyo. "My students, I hate to interrupt your lunch, but you are wanted most urgently in the Battle Nexus!"
Leonardo got up from his seat and bowed to their esteemed guest. "It's an honor to see you again. Uh, please don't mind the smell of our food here. Michaelangelo thought he could salvage spoiled pizza."
The Daimyo chuckled. "It is all right, my friends. I am here to invite you to take part in an exhibition match against the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers."
Donatello couldn't help but chuckle. "You're kidding us, right?"
"Not at all. Many have wanted to see you face them for some time now. In fact the original team is ready to face you as we speak."
"But I thought the yellow one died or something." Michaelangelo spoke.
"No, you're thinking of the actress who played her in real life. Bear in mind though, in the Battle Nexus, we are able to summon anyone alive or dead, regardless of whether or not they are truly real!"
"So basically you're like the Halls of Lost Legends adjacent!" Raphael commented.
  "Uh, pretty much." Donatello remarked.
