This is a picture I painted of Michaelangelo back in Middle School. I remember getting the skateboard idea from an image in a booklet that came with the NES Game Manhattan Project!

This is the only random TMNT drawing from my early childhood that I've managed to save over the years. If my memory serves me correctly, I drew it in pencil during church and colored it in marker at school.
The pen outlines were done for the scanner to pick up better.

Originally part of an illustration for a fanfic crossing over with The Simpsons, this picture of Mondo Gecko was drawn and colored in pencil and later traced in pen.

Too Full
I drew this image for Skeleton Crew's Caught In the Act Contest, depicting Michaelangelo putting Raphael into shock simply by offering him the last slice of pizza.

It's For You
This was once an illustration for a story written by fellow TMNT fan Brinatello. Originally there was a TV in the background as I depicted Raphael watching an old rerun of Saturday Night Live as he was being prank called.

Leonardo meets The Tick
An old friend at college used to tease me about how his favorite super hero
The Tick could kick the Turtles' shells in any day of the week (and that's just the sanitized version of what he used to say), though I always prefer to think the Turtles are much too humble to ever think of fighting the big blue lunk head, especially when you take into accout both cartoons in the 90's showcased a few of the same voice actors!

This sketch of Mikey was originally intended to be a reversed P.O.V. of Mirage Vol. 4 #2's cover when he nearly fell to his death after frantically trying to escape from a hovercraft, but I soon changed my mind and decided to have him hanging from a jungle gym instead.

This picture started out as a doodle of Leonardo in what was going to be a Civil War style outfit, which later was changed to Donatello dressed in an Old Navy fleece and winter cap similar to an ensemble I like to wear in the chilly months.

This image is strongly inspired by Raphael on the 4Kids series, but with a small nod to the original cartoon.

This was a cute idea I had for a doodle where I mixed the original cartoon style with the 2007 CGI film (note the blue eyes) and a very skinny neck to make a bobble-headed Michaelangelo!

When the Turtles were sent to Stump Asteroid and forced to wrestle, I loved their costumes, especially Donatello's!

I made this drawing of Leonardo during my stay at Horsham Clinic in 2008. It was a rough time for me, but my fondness of the Ninja Turtles kept my spirits up.

While visiting my sister in October of 2010 my 4 year-old niece asked me to go outside and draw with her, using colored chalk on the driveway. As usual I chose to draw Michelangelo. I started with the head, which was all I was going to do at first, but then I decided I might as well give him a body.

In early March of 2011 I decided to draw Donatello in an unusually sour mood to mirror some of the frustration I was having at the time. Halfway through the drawing I realized I had made Don's cheeks way too large, so I decided to shrink them down almost to the point his face looks more oval shaped, similar to the way the Turtles looked in a couple of issues of the Mirage comics that were done by Rick McCollum & Bill Anderson. The pens I used to ink my outline didn't work to well so I had to retrace certain areas, resulting in a couple of squiggly lines.

While showing my niece pictures of leprechauns around St. Patrick's Day 2011, I got the amusing idea of drawing Rocksteady dressed as one! Around that time there was a thread on the Technodrome forums where fans designed 1990s era TMNT toy variants based on the silly stuff Playmates used to come up with. Below you can read the back-story I made for this action figure.

Portrait of Irish Rocksteady
The Lucky Lootin' Rhino!

Top o' the morning! Unbeknownst to many people (even his best buddy Bebop) Rocksteady loves St. Patrick's Day! Dressed in his lucky leprechaun costume (complete with a four-leaf clover he plucked one day in the park when he was but a wee lad) Rocksteady's ready to paint the town green as he hunts for some gold! After an hour or so though, he'll give up and head to the pub for a pint of Guinness. Rocksteady really enjoys singing along to Floggin Molly, though he can't carry a tune to save his sorry hide from getting kicked out of the bar... so he staggers home to the Technodrome and puts his leprechaun costume away for another year.

Of the many changes that were made to the TMNT by Nickelodeon back in 2012, I found the adding of a third toe on each foot a little bizarre.
Initially, I didn't plan for this to be a drawing of Leonardo, but since I draw the other Turtles way more often, I figured I might as well make it be the fearless leader who finds himself with extra tootsies!

This happens to be my second attempt at my first time drawing Casey Jones. In the original picture I had him without the traditional hockey mask, but I decided to color his face green to look like he had painted it in honor of his four mutant bros. A few minutes later, I started regretting the choice I made so I tore up that picture and drew this version of Casey with his mask over his face!

This drawing is heavily inspired by Rob Paulsen's character Yakko Warner from the hit animated series Animaniacs!

Inspired by the classic trenchcoat disguises as drawn by Michael Dooney in the Archie comics adaptation of the original cartoon's first episode!

Funny story to this artwork: While leaving the movie theater with some friends after watching the final Harry Potter film, I showed this drawing to a friend who didn't know anything about the TMNT and she asked why I had a "Kick Me" sign on Shredder's groin.

I made this picture of Miyamoto Usagi during Hurricane Irene in August 2011. Thankfully the electricity at my parents' house didn't go out as I was watching some Ninja Turtle episodes featuring the lovable samurai rabbit!

This is a picture I drew of 4Kids Michelangelo in his full body Turtle Titan costume as seen in the later seasons.

This picture is for my good high school friend Jayne and her teammates from the Philly Roller Girls, a roller derby league based in Philadelphia! Jayne was known as Sue E. Side Hotline and she used to play for the league's home team, the Broad Street Butchers, hence the red shirt Mikey is wearing!

This is a picture I made at my sister's house, while finger painting with my niece. Originally I wasn't sure which Turtle he's meant to be, but at this point I'll say it's Michelangelo as he's depicted in the classic Mirage comics.

It's amazing what the imagination will come up with! I was thirsty for a glass of milk when I started thinking about how funny it'd be to see a random Ninja Turtle character show up on a milk carton. After going through a mental list of possible entries, I decided to go with Serling from the 4Kids series' Fast Forward / Back to the Sewer era.

For this amusing piece I originally had Homer Simpson and Michaelangelo chowing down on their favorite snacks at a food court in a mall, but then I decided to change it to a more familiar location in Springfield. The Kwik-E-Mart seen in the background is actually a frame grab from The Simpsons Game.

Back when the designs of the TMNT were coming out for the Michael Bay film reboot, I wanted to try drawing Michelangelo in his "surfer dude" attire, but while penciling the sketch I decided to go in a different direction and pay homage to one of my favorite 90's movie characters: Ace Ventura, Pet Detective as played by Jim Carrey! The colors of the pants are based primarily on the poster for the first film, while the colors of the Hawaiian shirt are based on the poster for the sequel When Nature Calls.

This drawing of Donatello is a sort of tongue-in-cheek homage to both Darkwing Duck and Zorro.

This is a quick drawing I did of Raphael in crayon while having dinner with my parents at The Macaroni Grill in Harrisburg. Looking back, I kinda wish I had left the URL of this site for people to see. Oh well, maybe next time!

Having just acquired a brand new pencil sharpener in early 2014, I was anxious to start using my colored pencils again, so I did this quaint little drawing of Leonardo. I believe this is the first time I ever drew one of the Ninja Turtles with a shoulder strap, which I based primarily on the one Leo sported in the 4Kids cartoon.

Originally this screenshot manip was going to depict Leonardo getting sick from Michaelangelo's cooking, but then I had a better idea when I decided to place the nauseated Turtle's face on the body of Stewie from Family Guy.
Thanks goes out to Lisardo for sending me the screen shot of Leonardo.

Here's a manip I did of Futurama's Philip J Fry wearing a blue bandana and carrying a sai. I forget why I decided to leave Bender normal, but it's an old manip.

This is an old avatar I made of myself with 2007 Michelangelo! The photo is actually me sitting between my sister Holly and our late cousin Michael on our flight home after our trip to Florida in spring of 2000.

A manip of Donatello and Raphael (as seen in Secret of the Ooze) dressed like the iconic SNL '90s party duo Wayne and Garth!!!

Back in 2014 I started watching an interesting vlog hosted by the lovely and talented Trisha Hershberger, known member of the SourceFed crew (a popular YouTube channel that ran from 2012 to 2017). I decided to make this adorable manip of her with good old surfer dude Mikey! The screenshot I took him from is from the episode Hot Rodding Teenagers From Dimension X!

Back in 2018 I took interest in a lovely and talented actress/comedian who goes by the name Erin Darling Torralva who I got the chance to meet in Los Angeles in 2019 when she and a young talented singer were hosting a kareoke party out there. The image here is a title card for her podcast Hot Pizza Ass, which I placed the 80s TMNT from a screen shot of when they had their first cameo on the 2012 series.

Vegging Out
This drawing was started back in late 2003 while I was sitting around in the piano lounge at college doing a sketch in my notebook. I finished coloring it in July of 2010.

Don Picasso, Halloween 2005
I got the idea for this picture during my psychology class when we did an exercise where we had to copy a picture by drawing it upside down. The image was of Igor Starvinsky as portrayed in a painting by the world famous Pablo Picasso. I decided to trace the picture onto computer paper and draw in three of the original toon TMNT, with Donatello's cheek sticking behind Igor's face like it was a Halloween mask!

One With Nature
Having been in the mood to do another comic short, I was planning to draw the TMNT in the distant future looking over some friends' tombstones, when I got the urge to do a light-hearted image of Leonardo enjoying a peaceful day in the wilderness with Master Splinter, who decides to point out something rather funny to his son.

This manip started out as an idea for a cross-over image with Bart Simpson and one of the Ninja Turtles, but while looking for some background images I came across this beautiful image of a park bench with the word "RESPECT" in big capital letters. This gave me an idea to do a motivational collage of some of my favorite television characters from when I was a kid!

Bart Simpson - property of 20th Century Fox (now owned by Disney)
Punky Brewster - property of Columbia Pictures
Garfield - property of Jim Davis
Chip n' Dale - property of Disney
Kermit the Frog - property of Jim Henson
Alf - property of NBC
Ren & Stimpy - property of Paramount
Bugs Bunny - property of Warner Bros.

Back in 2012 (4 years before that crazy goober became our president), I was messing around on Google, when I came across a picture of Donald Trump and I got a hilarious idea! Originally, I was planning to put the Trumpster's hair on Raphael's head, but then as I went through my collection of various TMNT images, this picture of Splinter seemed to be a perfect match.

This photo was a labor of love. I was originally planning to do a drawing of Fugitoid, but instead I chose to take a photo of my Fugitoid action figure. At first I thought it'd be cool to prop him up against my new laptop, but then I figured it'd be even better to see him with a living thing, so I put my dog Rusty up on my parents' bed with the toy. With a little coaxing and a lot of patience, I got this adorable shot!
At the time this picture was taken, Rusty's health was already fading and he was in a lot of pain. We weren't sure how much longer he'd last, but he managed to hang in for quite a long time. On August 20, 2012 he was put to sleep. We don't know exactly how old he was, especially since we adopted him in 2005, but I'm guessing he was atleast 15. At any rate this image is now considered a memorial to my furry little buddy.

While playing around on Google, I came across this beautiful picture of an ancient Japanese temple. As you can see I had a little fun with it and put three different iterations of the TMNT in the foreground.

This was a fun manip to work on! It started simply with the idea of having a cute girl in a sexy Michelangelo costume replace 4Kids Mikey in a group shot with his brothers. Then I put them in this backdrop of the sewer. A mistake with the ribbons on Fem-Mikey's arm was what lead me to put the image of Master Splinter in the picture frame on the far left, as a sort of manip within a manip!

The beautiful lady between Michelangelo and Donatello is Abby Dark-Star, a cosplayer from San Francisco. The Turtles appear as depicted in the video game Out of the Shadows.

This was an awesome manip to work on! The screenshot of Donatello is from the shopping mall scene at the beginning Secret of the Ooze, while the image of Barry Allen (as played by Grant Gustin on CW's The Flash) was taken from a generic promotional poster. Sadly I'm not very certain where the background image of the speed force originates from, though I assume it's taken from DC's online gaming community.

Even before writer/producer Ciro Nieli came up with the interspecies relationship concept now deemed "Apriltello", I've always thought Miss O' Neil had a special connection with good old Donnie-Boy throughout the different animated shows, and this new iteration of the collage shows that well!

Fred Wolf (1987 - 1996) episode: "Pirate Radio"
4Kids (2003 - 2009) episode: "The Shredder Strikes Back" Part One
Nickelodeon CGI (2012 - 2017) episode: "Showdown" Part 2

A silly manip/comic that I did using a screenshot from the opening scene of Turtles in Time and an image of pornstar April 'O Neil (yes, there is a woman who goes by that name and does adult film)

I decided to have some fun with this screen shot from the 1989 episode "The Big Break In" and show Raphael taking his cool-but-rude shtick to a more adult level in comparison with a certain foul mouthed mercenary from Marvel Comics!

I thought I'd take a crack at a popular meme about people who do nothing but complain when their favorite fictional characters get rebooted and altered in ways they disaprove of!

A few years back somebody on the Technodrome Forum had a photo-shopped image of Krang with a new android body disguised as the Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons. I thought that it would be fun to do my own version, using different screen shots from my DVD collection of both shows. I even threw in Bartman and placed both him and Krang-Book-Guy in the dimensional limbo.

More fun with manipping screen shots of Raphael. This time I took a scene from the episode where he did stand up on live television and threw in an advertisement for an episode of South Park! Note the long forgotten character Chef in the background as this particular ad was from the very early days of the show. Now just imagine if Viacom had gotten the rights to TMNT about a decade sooner!

WORD OF WARNING: THE FOLLOWING IMAGES ARE
NOT SAFE FOR WORK OR SUITABLE FOR LITTLE KIDS!!!

SURE YOU WANNA SEE 'EM? THEY'RE PRETTY RACY...

OKAY... DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YA. JUST MAKE SURE
THERE ISN'T ANYBODY BOTHERED BY NUDITY AROUND.

Slightly inspired by the famous dream sequence in the beginning of the classic 80s movie Risky Business

Upon discovering some of the late Tanya Roberts's film history pre That 70s Show, I thought it'd be funny to see what she might have looked like as a live action version of Irma in the New Line films from the 90s. Of course, what I have her and the TMNT up to here wouldn't be appropriate for a kids' movie.

This is a manip of Jagwar and Dreadmon of the Mutanimals from back in the good old days of Archie comics. The girl is Barbara Nedeljakova as seen in the horror film Hostel
